I've been playing the game for about 5 weeks now.
I have 5 towns and working on my next marble town which will take maybe another week

Current total score 162,147 (Rank 328)
Current general score 10,039 (Rank 155)

I have to note however, my military is almost entirely land, very crappy navy.... I thought once I joined an alliance, my alliance members can block their ports and I just have to send land units. Apparently jdam told me even alliance member's blockade will turn back ships T_____T.

Well you have to improve your total score a bit

I favor generals score over total, it's up to frank. If you're working on your 6th town though you're probably hoarding resources for GR's, so that should put you up into the top 300.
